p14-124 / GDOHBB, Kitchen (Goedendag – One Hot Blue Ball) / 2007 / unique analog photo print with special frame / 94,5 x 71 cm / one photo out of nine, made of the intervention that was part of the demolishing of De Groots former house (Motel Nooitgedacht in IJmuiden) in 2007. The project consisted of three acts: an intervention (Prologue), a performance (Masterplan) and a Tattoo (Epilogue). After De Groot left the house, which was to be demolished, it was boarded up with wooden plates to prevent people to enter the house. For the prologue De Groot used his circle saw to make saw cuts in the wood that covered the windows. Together with photographer Johannes Schwartz he documented this intervention in nine photographs from both the inside and the outside of the house. The wood of the house was used for the frames of the photographs / provenance: the artist / pk
